My name is Lianna Spencer and I am a graduate student at the University of Madison-Wisconsin studying Environmental Conservation at the Nelson Institute! This summer I will be completing my project placement assignment at the Clean Lakes Alliance (CLA) in Madison. CLA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the improvement and protection of the lakes, streams, and wetlands in the Yahara River Watershed. I will be designing a prototype map for Warner Beach to educate citizens about urban pollution.

During my 10-weeks at CLA, I am in charge of designing a prototype map with a basic design, features, and a list of expenses that will inform and educate visitors about Warner Beach. Specifically what urban pollution is and how we can work together to try to keep our lakes clean.
